SEPTEMBER 2026
As part of an informal industry consultation, JÁK presented a draft of its forthcoming position paper to its members and key partners. The event was attended by István Bart, Deputy State Secretary for Electrification and Decarbonisation at the Ministry of Economy and Energy, who confirmed that the Ministry will continue to be responsible for e-mobility within the government.
Representatives of fellow professional organisations were also present. JÁK intends to strengthen its cooperation with these organisations further, with a view to supporting the effective implementation of the electrification strategy and the more efficient functioning of a flexible electricity market.

The full-day conference analysed the current state of the ‘energy-mobility sector integration’ from various perspectives (regulation, market and business development, the automotive industry, charging technology, battery technology, and industry research), whilst placing particular emphasis on the issue of safety, which is of key importance to the industry. Our member organisation, the HUN-REN Natural Sciences Research Centre, kindly made its conference hall available for the event.

Our autumn meeting was also hosted by Porsche Hungaria’s MOONCITY centre, and our main topics were the “National Access Point” and AFIR data reporting, in addition to discussing the development of electromobility in Budapest.
